AB The university dropout is a problema that affects all countries. In the presentwork a brief investigation is presented about the university abandnment in the Degree ofPedagogy in the University of La Laguna, that has like objective to know the reasonsthat took to a group of students to leave their studies, later to offer posible preventivemeasures, to serve as a reference to the entire educational community. For this, we haveeighteen people who left during the first year of the university and we discoveredfactors that influenced the decisión as a child: family economy, ignorance about thedegree, and intesert in another degree, among others.
