AB This final degree project is focused on the importance of the communicative competencein a foreign language and how it can be worked through a teaching innovation project about theplanification and organization of a school trip to England by students of 6th grade of primary.In order to do that it has been carried out a theoretical investigation based on the explanation ofcommunication in today’s society and the concept of competence, explaining thecommunicative competence and how relevant it is in the teaching-learning process of a foreignlanguage. Subsequently it has been developed the didactic unit of the project, together with thecurriculum framework, the justification of the teaching-learning process and the activitiesdesigned to work on the communicative competence. This final degree project finishes with thefinal conclusions and a personal opinion, showing my point of view about the project.
