AB This work tries to verify the existence or not of convergence in the GDP and the apparentproductivity of the work in the Spanish autonomous communities, putting special emphasis in thecase of the whole of the Canary Islands. For this, the beta, sigma and gamma convergencemethodology will be used in the period from 2000 to 2017. In order to continue previous studiesand analyze a more current situation, adding the results for the seven islands.
