AB The objective of this report is to analyse the changes in the composition of public expenditure of agroup of European countries, focusing on the items related to the Welfare State. Once delimitedthe notion of Welfare State, the report concentrates in studying the changes occurred in thecomposition of public expenditure after 2007, as well as cross country differences in terms of publicspending in per capita euros.
