K1 dehumanization K1 civility K1 morality AB From the Dual Model proposed by Haslam, civility and morality are considered criteriaof humanity. For this reason, behaviors that do not conform to these codes facilitatedehumanization. This research pursues several objectives. On the one hand, we want tofind out how social distance influences this process of dehumanization. In addition, it isintended to know if penitentiary punishment influences the conceptualization of moralityand citizenship once the majority of the sentence has been served. The results obtainedshowed that social distance does not intervene when judging the severity of immoral oruncivil behaviors. In turn, it was observed that the inmate population labels immoralbehaviors with less seriousness than the non-reclusive, as opposed to what is expectedafter the prison treatment. Finally, at a general level, it was concluded that the person whocommits an uncivil act is more dehumanized than an immoral one, without significantresults for each specific type of dehumanization YR 2019 FD 2019 LK http://riull.ull.es/xmlui/handle/915/15419 UL http://riull.ull.es/xmlui/handle/915/15419 LA es DS Repositorio institucional de la Universidad de La Laguna RD 30-abr-2024
