AB In this paper, the presence of the right to gender equality in the Spanishlegal system will be studied.First, an analysis of the main discriminatory situations in employment willbe made, together with judgments that justify the defense of the principle ofequality.On the other hand, the existence of this principle will be studied in theSpanish Constitution and in the Statute of the workers, together with theconciliation measures of family and work life. As well as a deeper analysis ofLaw 3/2007 on equal opportunities between women and men.Lastly, Royal Decree Law 6/2019 of March 1, on urgent measures to ensureequal treatment and opportunities for women and men in employment willbe examined.
