Based on this fact, this workillustrates the uses of Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences as an alternativeto improve the quality of teaching-learning of English as a foreign language.The project is based on a theoretical review about the concept of intelligence fromits beginnings until the Theory of Multiple Intelligences by Howard Gardner. He hasshowed that intelligence are not unique but, in fact, it is based on eight independentcognitive abilities, therefore eight different ways of learning that leads to an open pathtowards an educational renovation that focuses in a more personalized education whichdevelop the singularities of the human being as its own.
