AB In the primary education stage, the study of language focuses on the written and oralexpression of the first language of the students, and in two foreign languages (to a lesserextent). These are languages that stand in the same category, and are so similar with oneanother that they could be indistinguishable for an extraterrestrial intelligence, which couldoperate in a totally different environment. But what is the language? How many types arethere? Are they universal? This intervention proposal, it is intended to make students aware ofthe different types of existing languages, their usefulness and suitability, connectingastrobiology with the area of language, for a possible contact with extraterrestrialintelligences.
