AB Estrogens are sexual hormones involved in the development of the secondary sex charactersof females. However, the over-exposition to these compounds can produce importanthormonal disorders and even cancer on the population.In this work, the partial validation and application of an analytical method have been carriedout for the evaluation of oestrogenic compounds in milk derivatives using the QuEChERSmethod as extraction and pre-concentration procedure and the ultra-high performance liquidchromatography hyphenated with mass spectrometry in tandem as separation anddetermination techniques.The evaluated samples, including different kinds of milk, cheese, kefir and infant productswere obtained from different markets in Tenerife with the aim of carrying out an initialassessment exposition to such substances of the alimentary Canary Islands population.
