AB Drinking water is an essential element for the human being, due to such importance it’s logicalto establish rules and indicators in terms of potability and quality to ensure water health standardsand, therefore, to carry out controls that respect this criteria, especially at the time of ensuringsafe water from the consumer's tap.The goal of this Final Degree Project is making a study of the chemical parameters andindicatorsthat are included in the current regulations of the water quality control in the consumer'stap, to qualify the water of the city of San Cristóbal de La Laguna.After the analysis of the results it was shown that the water samples were suitable for humanconsumption. It was also observed that the values of the parameters varied in relation to thegeographical area to which each sample belonged, that makes us think that certain waters belongto the same supply system.
