AB International labor relations are subject to specific regulations thatat least present one element of the inmigration laws, either the nationality ofthe company and / or the worker and / or the place where the services areprovided; These private international situations are the subject of PrivateInternational Law (DIPr).The "communitarization or Europeanization" is the phenomenon ofapproximation of laws in the field of DIPr in the Member States of theEuropean Union, ensuring normative homogeneity in the regulation ofinternational judicial compentence and the applicable labor law in the fieldof international employment contract.In this work, we also analyze the problem of the work provided onboard ships in the current; the minimum standards established by theMaritime Labor Convention and how they must be applied in the shippingcontract, the confusion and difficulty in identifying the maritimeentrepreneur, the existence of different flag of convenience and the problemin determining the applicable law to boarding contract.
