This town is located in Senegal, more specificallyin Louga.In the zone we’ll supply, there are 2 schools, 10 family houses, a vocationaltraining center, a youth residence, a social center, a dining room and an administrativearea.The HOMER PRO software has been used to carry out this project. This softwarewill perform different simulations to find the most suitable combination. This selectionwill be chosen based on technical and economic criteria.After estimating the energy demand that the village will have and carrying out thesimulations, the best option was to build a hybrid installation based on renewable energy.The installation will consist of a 117.25 kW photovoltaic generator that will be supportedby a battery system and a generator set.Based on the calculations that will be presented in the following documents, wecan provide electricity to the village and then we will be able improve their livingconditions.
