AB According to the European Commission (2014), a circular economy is one that maintainsthe added value of products for as long as possible and eliminates the generation of waste to theminimum. When the products reach the end of their useful life, they remain into the economy,they are reused creating a new value and thus the waste becomes by-products. To achieve this,recycling is essential. The purpose of this Final Degree Project is to make an analysis aboutwaste management in Tenerife, specifically about recycling. The data to be studied has beenprovided through a survey of its own.
