AB Advances in the innovation have positive effects on productivity and, therefore, on the economicgrowth of a country. In this work, the differences obtained in the economic results between theinnovative and non-innovative companies will be compared, between 2014-2016, through a seriesof indicators obtained from the Technological Innovation Panel (PITEC): productivity, employment,sales and exports . At the same time a distinction will be made between the size of the companiesand the activity to which it is dedicated: industry, services or construction. The results of the analysisshow us that the innovation factor helps the growth of companies and therefore the developmentof the economy.
