It hasidentified the species that are involved in the development of this complication byusing conventional microbiological techniques such as culture media and morerecently the application of molecular techniques such as PCR. However, despite thedevelopment of these identification techniques, dental abscesses remain a publichealth problem, highlighting the importance of oral health. All these factors, addedto the fact that the effectiveness in the treatment of dental abscesses that is decreasingevery time, make it a question frontline.
