With these methods, we will find some possible “hits” compounds that, with thehelp of screening, will provide a lead compound that subsequently will be optimized and testedin vivo and in vitro experiments.Using computational tools has generated a greater knowledge about the interactions betweena ligand–receptor, as well as a greater precision in the selected compound and speed up thedevelopment of new drugs.Nowadays there is a large amount of new drugs in the market that have been discovered withthese methods and it is a standard protocol in drugs design strategies.
