AB This paper intends to do research on the use of active hearing in CompulsorySecondary Education on the island of Tenerife. To obtain data from this work, aquestionnaire, has been used in which the use of musical audition and theimportance it has on students for its development are emphasized. It will also includea theoretical framework of the pedagogies that most develop hearing as the mainresource of musical education and the presence of hearing in the CompulsorySecondary Education curriculum.I hope to discover how musical hearing is applied in Secondary Educationcenters, since I understand that it is a very important part in the musical developmentof students.
