AB A new innovative teaching proposal is presented - “Learning for the subject ofMusic for 2º year of mandatory secondary education (from now on ESO)”. Thisproposal suggests the performance of activities in a different way for a situation oflearning in the subject of music. It is aimed to the students as well as teachers.This proposal is focused on showing the students the importance or the value ofknowing about the study of music. It is specifically an innovative and alternativeproposal in order to do the different classroom sessions, making an eminently practicalapproach of the subject, taking advantage of the expected students’ participation inorder to point out the value of specific aspects that they could perceive as well asothers that may appear while performing those activities. It is pretended with this work that the study of discipline in music in secondaryeducation could focus towards self-knowledge, the comprehension pleasure and theunderstanding in rough outlines of music
