AB There is a planetary debate about education, a need to rethink adequate knowledge for the society ofthe 21st century, beyond power. In the search for a new model, education through art appears as aquality alternative. Focusing on Early Childhood Education, Educational Dance offers a globalperspective: art and movement united to build a better society. Knowing its pedagogical scope andcomponents will lead us to conclude the poor application of dance content in the current curriculumand the need to obtain specialized teachers for its application. We will present the workshoprepresentation methodology as an applied pedagogical proposal.
