AB The objective of this study was to analyse the relation between the mentalworkload and the contextual performance. Two more variables where added, theperception of give help to other workmates and the perception of receive that help.The sample was formed by 78 workers of different sectors. The Subjective MentalWorkload Scale (Rolo et al., 2009) and a modified version of the Civic PerformanceScale (Coleman y Borman, 2000; Díaz-Vilela, 2012) was used in the study. Thesescales were digitalized and dispensed telamatically. ANOVA´s, correlations,regressions and mediation analysis was made to contrast the hypothesis. The resultsshow that two hypotheses were confirmed. Loyalty to the organization and physicalfatigue correlates, also the perception of receive help of other workmates correlateswith the strain.
