AB I will begin by analyzing in depth the reasons that support the emergencein Civil Law of the so-called vacation rental contract or vacation homecontract. Socioeconomic reality will go hand in hand with legal analysis;reality that is supported by legal solutions ruled firstly by the doctrinalsector and, secondly, approved by the legislative sector. I will focus thenormative analysis in the autonomous territorial area, I will cite the norm inthe different Autonomous Communities, and I will focus on theAutonomous Community of the Canary Islands. I will pay special attentionto the Bill that the Canary Islands will undertake in this area throughout thisyear. Finally, to finish, I will critically address the problems that the legalsystem has on this figure and I will propose possible and discussedsolutions
