AB In today's working world, mobbing is still an unknown figure, despitehaving a great impact both on the individual who suffers from it, as well ason their environment and professional organization that suffers negativerepercussions. In the present work we try to make known through theperspective of some authors this figure that began to be investigated in theearly eighties. For this, it is described as a form of physical or mentalviolence that occurs at work, which is manifested by different behaviorsproduced persistently over a period of time. Later we will investigate thesubjects that are part of it, as well as its typology and phases. To finish wewill go to investigate the possible protection mechanisms that the Spanishlegal system offers us, specifically the figures of the Labor Inspection, theSocial Jurisdiction and the Penal Code
