AB The LEC 1/2000 is committed to trust in the Court of First Instance and, on that basis,regulates the provisional enforcement of non-firm judgments, without the requirement of aguarantee, but ensuring the possibility of opposition. Problems relating to this matter arisewhen delimiting exclusions from the scope of provisional enforcement. This work will be thesubject of delimiting the basis and limits of the exclusions set out in article 525 LEC, as wellas developing some of the most obvious problems surrounding the practice of provisionalenforcement and relating to: the privilege enjoyed by the media on the basis of article 525.3LEC; provisional enforcement of eviction judgments; the possibility of imposing costs onprovisional enforcement and the controversy raised by voluntary enforcement of the sentencewithin 20 days; as well as the debate on the provisional enforcement of the conviction incosts.
