AB This study addresses the gender inequality of the labor market in Spain. Theconcepts of gender and social role will be addressed to later compare theactivity, occupation, unemployment and inactivity data provided by theActive Population Survey (INE) between 2006 and 2019, analyzing thedifferences in the rates and total numbers by age, level of education,nationality, type of working day and job search time. The causes thatproduce occupational segregation and how this affects society will also beobserved.
