AB The social perceptions of immigration and the attitudesthat Tenerife society has towards immigrants areessential aspects of the dynamics of interculturalcoexistence. The Tenerife Immigration Observatoryhas conducted research that has shows that in generalterms the society in Tenerife has a positive perceptionof immigration, although there is a generalizedperception of comparative grievance, based on the ideathat migrants are treated more favourably by publicinstitutions.
