The aim of this study is to investigate salience in people atschizophrenia stable phase and its relation with executive function. The sample includesa group of people with schizophrenia (n = 30) and a control group (n = 30). The AberrantSalience Inventory, the Dysexecutive Questionnaire, the Scale for Assessment ofNegative Symptons and the Scale for Assessment of Positive Symptons were used. In thepatient group, dysexecutive symptoms were associated with the salience indicatorHeightened Cognition, while in the control group all relations were significant. Ourresults show a limited relation between dysexecutive symptoms and aberrant salience inpeople at schizophrenia stable phase.
