AB Nowadays, the stress entails a big worry, even more so when the environment inwhich the occur is the workplace. From leave of absence, absenteeism, loss ofproductivity ... this problem is something that affects worker and business.The general objective of this study is to know the relationship between work stressand Burnout Syndrome in the workplace on the island of Tenerife, specifically, tostudy whether work stress influences the emotional exhaustion of workers.The results obtained from a sample of 55 workers from different professional fieldsshow that there is a relationship between work stress and the development of BurnoutSyndrome
