AB Aim: To know the views of healthcare professionals about their bioethics need in theirdaily practice in intensive care units.Method: A literature review was carried out to define the current state of theories andteaching methods in bioethics, in order to proceed with data collection through aquestionnaire to qualitatively analyze the opinion of healthcare professionals about thisdiscipline. Their results are analyzed and discussed based on their knowledge, theirinterest, their perception and their willingness to learn.Final thoughts: The new learning and teaching perspectives are based on reflective andpractical thinking. Healthcare professionals consider bioethics is important and they arewilling to continue with their training. The participatory and multidisciplinary workshopis the best valued method for teaching. The general thinking from the different intensivecare units is very similar so the comparison in between them is not significant. Wepropose continuous and participative training, insisting on communication skills andsearching for the aim of learning how to deliberate.
