AB The laboral stress is a complicated concept which affects more and more tothe workers and it has a lot of consequences for the people who suffer it, notjust in the worker area, but also in their personal life.The main objective of this report consists on study the relation betweenemotional intelligence and the stress of the people who works in a bigcompany located in Tenerife, after the arrival of the Covid-19.55 employers answered the scale of the laboral stress OIT/OMS (1989) y thescale of the emotional intelligence TMMS-24 (2004). The statistics analysiswere made by taking into account the main variables, category and sex.The information that we have recover, confirm two of the four plannedhypothesis. In fact, confirm that the women, despite of develop the samework comparing with men, they hold better the stress. Also, it is possible toconfirm that, workers in high positions in the company have greateremotional intelligence than workers in other positions.
