The way in which this situation istreated institutionally exceeds many human rights both in the border territory and within thenational territory. In the territory there are different reception camps with negligent conditions, where migrants are transported and held without being able to move freely through other spacesthat involve taking a plane or a boat. Faced with this violation of rights and racist treatment bythe institutions, a social movement is formed that materializes in different support networks. Inthis context, I place a multisite ethnographic study that gathers both migrant subjectivities andthose that structure the support networks. The ethnographic discourse is understood in anintersubjective way, constructing a narrative that makes visible the different forms of institutionalracism and possible causes of irregular migration by sea to the Canary Islands.
