AB The trade union freedom is contemplated in our legal system as an unavoidable part offundamental rights, and as such, it must be ensured that it is properly complied withand its institutional protection. The purpose of this project is to clarify what is themeaning and function of this right in the framework of labor relations. For this, ahistorical route will be carried out in order to understand the difficulties to which thelaw has been subjected, in addition to a legislative thresh of the fundamentals andessential characteristics that make it up. Finally, a contextualization of the currentsituation that freedom of association is going through is shown and what its possibilitiesare in the globalized world.
