AB With this Final Degree Project entitled "Entry to the National PoliceCorps", the aim is to study and analyse specifically the National PoliceCorps, which are linked to the General State Administration as members ofthe Security Forces and Corps, and are dependent on the Ministry of theInterior. Their main mission is to defend the rights and freedoms andguarantee the security of all citizens.To begin with, a brief introduction will be given, the historical backgroundwill be explained and the applicable regulations will be named. It will alsoexplain the regime of career civil servants of the National Police and itsorganisation.The work will focus mainly on the entrance to the National Police Corps,that is to say, on the selection process, with emphasis on the competitiveexamination and the tests that are carried out, the training course that takesplace at the National Police School, and the internship that takes place atthe police station. In addition, in this part, special mention will be made ofthe incorporation of the first women into the National Police.Finally, the uniform and badges will be commented on, and the possibilitiesof professional career and internal promotion that police officers havewithin the Corps will be described.
