A1 Nielsen Ramos, David Helge A2 Grado En Relaciones Laborales K1 Estrés laboral K1 Estrés K1 FoMO K1 Covid-19 AB Objective: to study the relationship between work stress, FOMO syndromeand the fear of contagion due to the global pandemic caused by Covid-19 inhealth personnel.Method: a cross-sectional study was conducted, taking as a sample 54people, 35 belonging to the health sector and 22 to non-health sectors. Thestudy was carried out in the period from March to June 2021 and for thispurpose the subjects were surveyed with the application of 3 scales related toeach of the variables. Results: It has been obtained that the greater the fear of contagion sufferedby health care providers, the greater the FoMO syndrome that affects them.On the other hand, FoMO syndrome does not determine the level of workstress and, finally, the results confirm that the higher the level of work stressin the healthcare providers, the lower the fear of contagion they willexperience. Conclusions: the fear of missing out implies a different perception of thefear of contagion, that is, feeling absent from experiences considered asrewarding produces a greater fear of contracting the virus, but does notaffect the mental health of health professionals, while the development ofthe pandemic has generated that the fear of being infected is overshadowedby the work stress that health personnel may suffer.
