SCADA is the set of software and hardware components that enablethe supervision and control of industrial plants.This system consists of three main elements:• A central server where the obtained data is processed and stored.• The transmisión with the field network, where are the PLC’s (ProgrammableLogic Controller) that interact with the sensors and actuators of the process.• Interaction with the user where the HMI (Human-Machine Interface) are located,which allow the operator to monitor and control the field devices.The SCADA has been made for the stations of the company FESTO [1], these stationsare small-scale manufacturing cells representing the main processes in the industry.Regarding its implementation, a type of connection has been proposed that includes anHMI screen, programmable controllers and the FESTO stations themselves.In the communication with the devices HMI screens and PLC’s, a type ofcommunicaction protocol called PROFINET has been used. This protocol stands out forits ease of deployment devices, improving both the speed and security of yourcommunicactions. PROFINET uses real-time Ethernet to communicate the differentconnected devices via a fieldbus. In a PROFINET network, all devices can asume the roleof supplier and consumer.
