AB The disability process is of special importance in our legal system, since whathad been intended was to determine the limits and extent of the disability, aswell as the guardianship or guardianship regime or, agree to the internment ofthe allegedly incapacitated person. However, after Law 8/2021, of June 2,which reforms civil and procedural legislation to support people withdisabilities in the exercise of their legal capacity, the aim is to support andinvolve in making decisions to the affected person. Likewise, as stated in thepreamble of this law, people with limited capacities must be protected.
