AB This brief study aims to study the health reforms that took place, first in 2012, seeking toface the economic crisis and make the national health system more efficient, and secondthe one produced in 2018, which deals with the errors of the reform that precedes it andestablish certain improvements.This work also carefully observes the influence that these reforms have on the legal statusof citizens regarding their access to the health system. In detail, the study focuses onobserving how the 2012 regulatory reform affects the legal status of undocumentedimmigrants within the Spanish state and the limitation of rights regarding access to thenational health system. In the same way, the consequences of this reform are observed,as well in a comparison with the 2018 reform.In addition to this, a brief observation is made of the Covid-19 pandemic phenomenonand the legal implications that may have affected immigrants, in detail.Finally, a series of logical reflections regarding the legal system are established, whicharise precisely from the doubts and appreciations that are taken when studying thementioned reforms.
