AB The freedom of speech right is a necessary condition for a State to beconsidered social and democratic, as Spain is. However, this is not anabsolute right and will never prevail before any other fundamentalrights.Nowadays, the way we communicate and express our opinions and ideashas changed with the social media presence. This platforms, besidesincrementing the information that is available, increase exponentially thedissemination of information, opinions or ideas we put out, which createnew challenges for our democracy as we need to discriminate whichones are a risk for it, or attack other fundamental rights.
