However they left behind the emotional and socialpart that characterizes a school. This work aims to explore from the teacher's perspective the impact of COVID-19 in theclassroom day-to-day, especially in the emotional, social and behaviors aspects, and alsoin the academic performance of the students. To carry out this investigation, a sum of 9teachers of primary school from the city of San Cristobal de La Laguna, in Tenerife havebeen interviewed about their experiences during this scholar year The results confirm that,as expected, the COIVD has affected directly and indirectly the way to relate and behaveof children, and how they experiment their emotions. The level of damage that thissituation has created, depend on different aspects , as the age of the students, being theolder the most harmed, or the characteristic of the familiar surroundings. Despite this, allstudents, regardless of their age or their environment, show symptoms of stress, such asdemotivation, lack of concentration or irritability.
