Biswas, reflects on the processof film-making, using strategies that deal with self (and, therefore, social) transformationthrough art. In a sort of inner confession monologue, he delves not only into the moreanecdotal part of the logistics and economic tour-de-force problems that producing a filminvolve; but also, and more interestingly, in the causes, nuances, and psychological detailsthat are contained in the plot. Seen as a process of catharsis and posterior anagnorisis, thefilm unveils the subtle influences that underlie human contact, the transformation of thehuman psyche by means of compassionate attitudes, and the mutual redemption suffered bythe seeming victim and his apparent saviour, in a sort of alchemic metempsychosis releasedby mutual understanding and empathy.
