Although this is a significant period, the policiesimplemented through legislation have not managed to reshape the realitywithin organizations. The aim of this paper is to study in greater depth thereality of the situation in Canarian companies in order to clarifya series ofweak points that could be improved. To this end, we have carried out a casestudy centred on three companies which we have interviewed and observedduring our internships. The results of these interviews show that, indeed,neither training in equality nor the implementation of many of the measuresin this area are seen as organizational needs within Canarian organizations.Therefore, the main contribution of this study is to update the debate on thesubject, highlighting the reality of Canarian companies.
