The Spanish labormarket shows that women's working conditions tend to suffer greater discrimination such asstrong occupational segregation and female under-representation in many sectors, whichleads to a violation of fundamental rights. Therefore, an urgent action has been neededthrough RD 6/2019 and its subsequent regulatory development. This study analyzes from theregulatory framework, the phases and their particularities introduced when drawing up andimplementing equality plans, as strategies directly aimed at combating gender inequality inthe company, as well as assessing the scope that has this instrument in society to alleviatethese inequalities.
