AB During the Covid-19 pandemic that began in 2020, teleworking turned outto be one of the solutions for the need for isolation among the population,changing in many aspects the perceptions and forms of the workingenvironment that was known. This supposes a new evolution regardingwork in society and like all labor changes throughout history, this alsosupposes a transformation for society. This work aims to contemplate andanalyze where teleworking comes from, considering its evolutionthroughout history, going through the moment when teleworking begins tobe considered as an option, as well as why it had not been implemented atlarge scale so far, how it is regulated and how it is perceived by workersand employers. To obtain accurate information, various reports, articles,studies, and analysis of telework have been examinated, as well asstatistical studies. Surveys and interviews have also been carried out toobtain information
