AB A study is made of the algae of a coastal zone in the South of Tenerife. This zone will disappear in the near future as a consequence of the construction of a large maritime port complex.Nine different communities are distinguished, and a catalogue of 113detected species is presented, in which 6 new reference are cited for the Canaries and 11 for the Island of Tenerife.
