AB The catalogue of benthic algae in the Canarian Archipelago is extended tó include thirteen new species; two Chlorophyta: Caulerpa sertularioides (Gmelin) Howe and Gayralia oxysperma (Kützing) Vinogradova; threePhaeophyta:Dictyota ciliolata Kützing, Sargassum cymosum C.Ag. and Sargassum filipendula C.Ag.; and eight Rhodophyta: Dasya caraibica Boergesen,­Dasya crouaniana J.Ag., Grateloupia doryphora (Montagne) Howe, Halymenia -floridana J.Ag., Platoma bairdii(Falow)Kuckuck, Hypnea cornuta (Lamour.)J.Ag., Scinaia complanata (Collins) Cotton and Chrysymenia enteromorpha Harvey.The regional corology for twenty species is also extended and the necessary corrections are in the afore mentioned catalogue.
