AB The aim of this paper is to the question of what basic knowledge should a graduate in Law haveabout bio-law?Given the novelty of this discipline and its important relationship with the current reality, thispaper addresses from the origin of bioethics to the concept and working methodology of biolaw,through the differentiation of this branch of law from other related institutions, to conclude withthe most relevant biotechnological realities that biolaw must face, with special emphasis onembryonic research. All of this is based on European regulations, its jurisprudence and Spanishlaw. With the aim of bringing the jurist closer to the basic notions of biolaw.
