AB The Minimum Vital Income was born with the aim of increasing the coverageof the insertion income of the Autonomous Communities, simplifying the accessprocedures, so that no person in a situation of vulnerability is left unprotected.It is regulated in Law 19/2021, of December 20.Specifically, in this work we will analyze the legal regime and the constitutionalperspective of this non-contributory benefit. Among them, the competence title,the right to equality and non-discrimination, the mandate addressed to the publicauthorities regarding the adequacy of Social Security benefits together with theprinciple of human dignity. Finally, we will study the current judicial doctrine.
