AB The entire purpose of any language is to allow communication. Therefore, the main aim ofany English teacher is to develop their students’ Communicative Competence. A not quiteexplored yet teaching resource is the podcast, which allows us to build on the aforementionedcompetence. With the objective of combining these two variables: English CommunicativeCompetence and the podcast as an ict teaching resource, this didactic proposal has beencreated. It has been designed to be carried out in the fifth and sixth year of PrimaryEducation, in Andalusia and its main aims are to work on the four key skills, to improvestudents’ digital competence, to foster autonomous learning and to decrease anxiety related tooral production.
