AB The global situation produced by the great technological advance offers the opportunity toestablish a new management model and, consequently, public procurement has beentransformed to accommodate electronic public procurement or e-procurement. In Spain,already in 1992, with the repealed Law 30/1992, of November 26, on the Legal Regime ofPublic Administrations and Common Administrative Procedure, there was awareness of theimpact that technology would have in the future for the administrative sphere, and to this day,with the full validity of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts, a legislativeframework continues to be developed, along with the guidelines of the European Union, thatallows the use of electronic resources in the field of public contracts under suitabilityrequirements. Special reference deserves the security of the sensitive data dumped in thecontracting procedures whose interest has recently produced the modification of numerousLaw precepts
