AB The purpose of this paper is to study the outermost regions and, in particular, the CanaryIslands with a differentiated legislative regime that aims to improve the economicconditions of these territories. On the other hand, the existence of the principle of equality,solidarity and proportionality in the cohesion policy in the European Union related to theterm territorial cohesion will be analyzed.
