AB The main objective of this research work is to analyze the performance evaluationsystem that has been carried out in the University Hospital of the Canary Islands on aregular basis and if this methodology was used during the Covid-19 virus pandemic andsubsequently make a proposal. improvement for this system. For this, a questionnairehas been used, which was carried out by the workers of said institution, as a method ofcollecting information. After analyzing the results, it was determined that there areshortcomings when it comes to evaluating the hospital staff and that during thepandemic alarm situation no follow-up was carried out to determine the performance ofthe workers.
